How does AutoRent work?

Search for a vehicle by location, dates and type, book instantly or send a request, then check in with a QR code at pickup. Your digital key unlocks the car and you're on the road. Everything — payments, insurance and support — is handled in the app.

Is insurance included on every trip?

Yes. Every rental includes damage protection and liability cover as standard. A refundable security deposit is shown upfront and released after the vehicle is returned in good condition.

What do I need to rent a vehicle?

You'll need a verified AutoRent account, a valid driving license and a payment method. First-time renters complete a quick ID and license check — usually approved within minutes.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

Yes. Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before pickup on most vehicles. Cancellation terms are shown clearly before you book, and refunds are processed back to your original payment method.

How do I pick up and return the vehicle?

At pickup, scan the QR code to check in, complete a quick photo inspection and unlock with your digital key. To return, drop the vehicle at the agreed location, refuel/charge as required and check out in the app.

How do owners get paid?

Owners receive automatic payouts after each completed trip, typically within 24–48 hours, straight to their linked bank account. You keep the majority of the rental price — our service fee is transparent and shown before you list.

What happens if the vehicle breaks down?

Tap SOS or Roadside Assistance in the app for 24/7 help. We'll arrange recovery, a replacement vehicle where possible, and cover eligible costs. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services first.

How is my payment and data protected?

All payments are processed through encrypted, PCI-compliant systems. We never store raw card details, and your personal data is protected under our Privacy Policy with strict access controls.
